Welcome to the Syracuse Board of Certified Women's Lacrosse Officials' Website 2025-26
The Syracuse Board of Certified Women’s Lacrosse Officials (SBWLO) is a chapter of the New York State Association of Certified Lacrosse Officials. SBWLO offers training and certification of new officials while providing ongoing recertification and training for veteran lacrosse referees. SBWLO’s goal is to provide Central New York with referees that are both competent and foster a high standard of ethics and integrity.
SBWLO services girls’ lacrosse for Section III schools under the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. SBWLO is also the sole provider of lacrosse referees for all girl’s summer leagues, winter leagues, and tournaments that take place year-round in Central New York.
We also offer training through our Junior Official Training Program that allows individuals who are heading into their junior year of high school (and older) to become certified to officiate summer league youth lacrosse.

Pay for Dues, Rule Book, Training Fee, or Gear Here
The 2026 SBWLO dues are $35 and include a 2026 high school rule book. When you pay your dues, the organization will place your rule book order. It is not necessary to purchase a book on your own. Dues must be paid by December 31, 2025. There will be a $5.00 late fee assessed every month starting January 1, 2026.
